“Grand Re-opening! “
At Friday morning’s committee meeting it was agreed that the club will re-open on Wednesday 12 August at 7pm for club members only. It will also be open on the 13th and 14th.
The Co-op bowling green will be open from Monday 13 July 2020
The opening comes with a risk and a responsibility on all to follow the
Government issued Guidelines
If at any stage there is a failure to adhere to the guidelines and the safety of
members is being put at risk the club committee will close the green again.
The club have to maintain track and trace records for member’s safety so please
make sure you adhere to our guidelines.
1 Members must have paid up club and bowling fees. This validates our
2 Playing periods must be booked through Dave Pedley who maintains a
record of all members who attended and times.
3 The playing period will be for a one hour session.
4 There will be no block booking. A booked session must be completed
before another booking can be made.
5 A maximum of 3 groups allowed on the green at any one time with no

6 It is mandatory that all persons in or around the green must be notified to
Dave Pedley for track and trace.
1 If you are showing symptoms of the virus please refrain from bowling and
self isolate. If you have bowled and show symptoms of the virus please
contact Dave Pedley.

Liz Dawes will finish payments at the end of March. The last Bonus Ball number will come out on Saturday, 28th March.
Liz will adjust the books accordingly and will hold onto the winnings for distribution at a later date.

OUTSTANDING ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES – Annual Club Membership is £10 per person, due early in any year, and currently there are 40 Members who have not renewed their Membership. Bowlers must be paid-up Members. Please renew by paying cash/cheque to ‘Co-op Sports & Social Club’, and leave in an envelope at the Bar, addressed to the Secretary. Alternatively, if you would like your name removed from the Membership list, please leave details addressed to Secretary.
